Protocol & Policy Procedures

The Office of Government Relations and Community Engagement serves as the principle liaison and point of contact between the University and the executive and legislative branches of state government to secure state funding for University priorities, track bills for the legislative session and inform faculty, staff and students about their impact on the University.

We also coordinate visits to campus for federal and state legislators, arrange meetings with officials for campus faculty/staff, represent Georgia Southern to the community, and just as importantly, the community to Georgia Southern.
